Geotechnical and geological conditions often present the biggest risk on projects and unfortunately all projects do not go according to plan. GGC can provide independent advice on claims or expert witness cases, ranging from initial reviews and high level advice through to detailed discussions and review of particular claims.
Whilst marginal land is becoming increasingly viable for development it tends to come with larger geotechnical risks such as contaminated land, uncontrolled fill, and variable ground conditions. Our team identifies and quantifies geotechnical risks and provides design solutions to mitigate these risks.
GGC provides value engineering services for all phases of a project to identify risks and opportunities, to reduce contruction costs and duration. Our Principal Geotechnical Engineers all have significant experience in construction works and bring a pragmatic and innovative approach to design and construction work.
Through GGC’s resources and extensive experience, we can provide initial assessment of the geotechnical conditions at sites for land development and resource evaluation (construction materials). We also have the capabilities to provide ongoing services through the design and construction phases.
